As a self-taught artist, I had a lifelong passion for drawing.

Originally from Australia, I moved to London in 2006 and found myself caught up in the fraught work-life balance of the city, without much space or time to indulge my artistic hobbies. That slowly changed with time, as did the desire to take my artistic practice more seriously.

After spending many years patiently developing my pencil skills with the objective of eventually moving to oil paints, I finally made the leap in early 2019. In doing so, I found something I loved even more than drawing. 

Now based on the south coast of England in Brighton, I set up my own studio & private gallery early in 2023 where I have space and freedom to fully pursue my creative vision. I occasionally exhibit works locally but mostly create, share and sell my work online.

Currently focussed on working with acrylic paints, I find inspiration in human connection, representing individuals and relationships with calmness, intimacy and depth. Through colour, shape and texture, I aim to to create works that evoke a sense of empathy and warmth.
