About Me
As a self-taught artist, I've had a lifelong passion for drawing.
Originally from Australia, I moved to London in 2006 and found myself caught up in the fraught work-life balance of the city, without much space or time to indulge my hobby. That slowly changed with time, as did the desire to take my artistic practice more seriously.
After spending many years patiently developing my pencil skills with the objective of eventually moving to oil paints, I finally made the leap in early 2019. In doing so, I found something I loved even more than drawing.
Now based in Brighton, I set up my own private studio & gallery early in 2023, where I have space and freedom to fully pursue my creative vision.
Inspiration
I find inspiration in human connection, representing individuals and relationships, particularly those between men, with calmness and depth.
Through colour, shape and texture, I aim to to create works that evoke a sense of empathy and warmth.
